Aerial Yoga is wonderful, fun and accessible to everyone. This workshop is an introduction to the concept of Aerial Yoga and its many benefits to the body and mind. Whether you are a seasoned Yogi or new to Yoga, this workshop is for anyone with an interest in de-compressing and nourishing the spine and creating body or healthy body or is just curious about Aerial Yoga. You don’t need to have any experience in Yoga.
We will enjoy the benefits of using the Yoga swing and within the first few minutes be hooked on the simplicity of this great apparatus. With the Yoga swing – especially for beginners – we can initiate basic and complex postures within the first session with relative ease without the strain on the body bought about by mat yoga.
This playful swing is a real treat and brings fun and enjoyment back into the ‘serious’ Yoga class as we swing around like we are back in the playground. As a result of us enjoying the Yoga swing, we reap the amazing benefit of lengthening the muscles and all its attachments, release trapped physical and emotional energy, recharge the spinal column and flush the entire energy system.
These workshops will be held and the beautiful Adventist Alpine Centre, Tinworth Dr, in Jindabyne – above the airport.
Aerial Yoga Swing and mats provided. Please bring a water bottle and comfortable clothing. You are welcome to bring your own Yoga mats or wear Yoga socks with grippy soles.
